I had a customer who had recently purchased a new BMW M140i wanting a 'New Car Detail', which included both the interior, wheels and glass treatment.

The car had not been treated to any coatings or protection offered by the dealer as the customer feels these are generally not as effective. The customer had previously used other detailers on his cars but having done some research on GTechniq products wanted these to be applied to this car.

It was agreed that the car would have the 'full works' which includes a treatment of GTechniq Crystal Serum Light and two coats of their Exo Hybrid Hydrophobic coatings. This provides excellent protection to the car's paintwork from UV, minor swirls and scratches, as well as having excellent water repellent qualities. This level of protection will last anything up to 3-5 years with just an annual top up of the Exo Hybrid coating recommended on an annual basis.

The job took 2 days to complete, allowing at least 12 hours to allow the ceramic coatings to properly cure.

On completion the car looked amazing and really showed the black metallic paint to its best; allowing the green, mauve and gold flakes in the paintwork to 'pop'.
